Several airlines fly to Denpasar, the international airport of Bali. Coming from Europe, you’ll have a stopover on the way, e.g. in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Doha. Flights can be booked at travel agencies or online, such as www.opodo.com, www.skyscanner.com or www.expedia.com.
The retreat starts on Saturday afternoon at 5 pm with a guided house tour and introduction, therefore we ask you for an arrival between 2 and 4 pm. When you come directly from the airport we recommend that you book a flight that arrives in the morning or around midday in Denpasar, so that you can enjoy the beautiful drive to Prana Veda before it gets dark outside and so that you are here in time for the introduction tour. The drive takes three hours and passes traditional Balinese villages, beautiful rice fields, volcano landscapes and coconut palm tree forests.

We will gladly pick you up from the airport or from any other place on the island.
Bali is one of the safest places to travel alone as a woman. In Prana Veda we live with open doors and feel very safe.
General doctors and tropical institutes can advise on the recommended vaccinations. Basically you should have the standard vaccinations (diphtheria, tetanus and polio) and hepatitis A for the Bali trip.
In tourist centers on the island there are well-equipped clinics that also offer 24-hour help, e.g. B. International SOS Clinic, Bali International Medical Center (BIMC) or Kasih Ibu in Denpasar.
In Bali the water from the tap is not drinking water. Please only drink water that is sold in water cans and bottles. Prana Veda provides free drinking water.
Please find out yourself about the current visa requirements of your home country. The passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months. In most cases, you get a Visa on arrival for 30 days for 35 US$. Longer stays are possible, if you apply for a 60 days visa in your home country. Please refer to the information given by the Indonesian embassy or consulates in your home country.
Beginners as well as advanced students are very welcome. Since we teach in very small groups, we can respond individually to each individual participant.
We do not accept credit cards at the moment. You can pay by bank transfer, Wise (cheaper) or in cash on arrival. In Prana Veda it is only possible to pay cash in Euro or Indonesian Rupia.
Payment deadline for the total amount is 6 weeks before arrival.
It’s nice when the entire team from service to the kitchen, the cleaning staff and the gardener and night watchman have an equal share of the tip. We therefore ask you to refrain from individual donations. On the last day, the course leader collects a tip for everyone. We recommend budgeting 25-35 euros for the week, depending on how satisfied you are.
